Scotias & Beading

A tidy finish around your floor

Many flooring installations need an expansion space at the perimeter. Scotia beading can cover this space where existing skirting boards remain in place, giving the edge of the floor a neat appearance. Choose a shade that blends with your flooring or a finish that complements the surrounding woodwork.

Planning the rest of the room? Use floor profiles for transitions between surfaces and radiator rings around exposed pipes. Check your flooring’s fitting instructions for the expansion space it requires, and fix beading to the wall or skirting rather than the floating floor.
