- Can this be glued or does it need to be pinned? Is this suitable for LVT? Thanks
- Hello, thank you for getting in touch. The FC14 scotia beading can be glued or nailed into place. We recommend the Wood Flooring Adhesive if you plan to glue this, https://www.directwoodflooring.co.uk/impero-grip-adhesive-glue.html. Yes, all of our Scotia Beading ranges can be used with LVT products. However, if you are installing in a high moisture area, you may want to consider the EvoCore beading: https://www.directwoodflooring.co.uk/evocore-arctic-oak-scotia-beading.html. I hope this helps, and if you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to get back in touch. Kind Regards, Christina.
- Is there any advice for how to lay beading around a corner (bay window and curved stair edge) - thank you!
- Hello, thank you for getting in touch! Our Scotia Beading is slightly pliable, so provided the curve is not too extreme this should bend around. Fitting beading in a corner involves cutting the Scotia at an angle and joining these together with an adhesive. We would recommend this as a job for an experienced fitter, and you might seek further specialist advice before attempting either of these methods. I hope this helps if you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me. Kind Regards, David.
- Ho do I secure the scotia beading to the wall or skirting? Glue? Also does the colour match the boarding cloud of lost white?
- Hello, thanks for getting in touch! Usually customers will glue the Scotia beading to the wall/skirting, you could use our Impero - Adhesive Glue to bond it: https://www.flooringsuperstore.com/impero-grip-adhesive-glue.html. Our accessories have a colour code on them (usually FC or WS) so that you can find matching colour accessories to go with your flooring. I hope this helps, and if you have any further queries, please don't hesitate to contact us. Kind regards, Benjamin.
- What is the actual size?
- Hello, thank you for getting in touch! The FC14 Scotia measures 2.4m in length and is 18mm in both height and depth. These Scotia's are designed for use with laminate floors, giving the finishing touch of class and expert appearance. I hope this helps! If there is anything else we can help with please do not hesitate to get in touch! Kind Regards, Katie.
