Key Features

14mm Board Thickness

The thickness of your floor is important in ensuring your floor is both stable and highly durable. With a 14mm thickness, you can be safe in the knowledge that your new floor will stand the test of time.

3mm Top Layer

Sawn cut and highly stable, our 3mm top layer adds strength and allows sanding to re-varnish or re-colour your floor.

Hand Selected Boards

Character and quality go hand in hand with care, and each of our hand selected boards is chosen to make your floor unique.

Sustainably Sourced Flooring

This flooring has been sourced from an approved source, meaning that it has come from only the most well maintained and sustainable forests. This helps preserve delicate ecosystems and ensures that native cultures and economies are respected.

Random Board Lengths

Wood flooring that comes in random length boards helps transform rooms by adding character, but also can create the feeling of extra space in even the smallest of rooms!

Prime Grade Boards

As our cleanest grade of wood, the Prime Grade features fewer knots and cracks compared with our Rustic Grade and Character Grade floors, but instead emphasises consistent natural colouring and a more 'pristine' finish.

French Oak

Bringing the 'va va voom' to our wooden flooring range, this Sustainably Sourced French Oak from the Burgundy region of France is of the highest quality and character.

Fantastic Warranty

Our wood products initially come with a fantastic three years residential warranty and two years commercial warranty, giving you piece of mind that your flooring will stand the test of time. If you'd like to extend your warranty, get in touch with our stores.

Product description

The Loft Prime Natural engineered wood flooring has a warm mix of honey and natural oak tones, giving the floor a clean, timeless look. Made from French oak, the Prime grade has fewer knots and less colour variation than more rustic grades, so the overall finish is more consistent and understated. Prime grade engineered wood flooring is a good option if you prefer a cleaner, more uniform look. The limited knots and consistent grain give the floor a more refined appearance, while the natural variation in the oak stops it from looking completely flat or artificial.

The smooth lacquered finish brings out the natural beauty of the oak while giving the surface a protective layer against everyday scratches, stains and moisture. The result is a smooth, polished finish that's easy to clean and well suited to busy areas of the home. At 14mm thick, the boards have a 3mm real oak top layer, giving the floor a solid feel and allowing it to be sanded and refinished in the future if required. The boards come in random lengths from 300mm to 1200mm, helping create a natural-looking finish when laid. The flooring uses a traditional tongue and groove joining system and can be floated, nailed or glued down. It's also suitable for underfloor heating, making it a practical choice for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, dining rooms, studies and kitchens.

If you're looking for natural oak engineered wood flooring with warm honey tones, a smooth lacquered finish and a more consistent Prime grade appearance, Loft Prime Natural is a versatile choice for both modern and traditional homes.
