Can this be fitted straight onto joists or does the variable lengths make this impratical? Is there the option for standard lengths?: Hello, thank you for getting in touch! I can confirm that this flooring cannot be laid directly on to joists, we would only recommend at least an 18mm thick flooring with set plank lengths to be installed this way. Is it ok to lay this flooring on a pumped screed floor on underlay & do you recommend gluing the joints?: Hello, thank you for getting in touch! Yes, this product can be laid o a screed floor providing it is smooth, level and dry. Should this floor be fitted with an underlay?: Hello, thank you for getting in touch! As this is an Engineered Wood, this can be installed either as a floating floor with an underlay or by being glued or nailed directly to the sub-floor. If your sub-floor is concrete and you wish to glue this down, we would recommend damp-proofing using our Primer before installation: https://www.directwoodflooring.co.uk/impero-sub-floor-primer-6-kg.html.
