Can it be used for stairs and if yes wgich nosing do you recommend?: Hello, thank you for getting in touch. Although Engineered Wood can be used on stairs, this particular product has random plank lengths. We would advise using a fixed-length board when installing on stairs, to minimise waste. Hi, when re-oiling this floor, what should I use?: Hello, thank you for getting in touch! If you are looking to apply an initial coat after installation, I would recommend the following Oil: https://www.directwoodflooring.co.uk/osmo-polyx-oil-anti-slip-extra-clear-3089.html. As this is an extra clear Oil, it will have the least impact on the colour whilst still sealing the wood. Alternatively, if you are looking to top up the colour, I would recommend the following Oil: https://www.directwoodflooring.co.uk/osmo-polyx-oil-tints-3073-terra.html. Please be aware that these Oils are buildable, and the more coats you apply, the darker the colour will go. can this STUDIO COTTAGE OAK Brushed & Oiled Engineered Wood Flooring be used in a commercial restaurant? and also, the floor is over 150m in total, do i need to use strap to stabilise to enable the glue to dry. and will underlay be necessary for as i am laying over a concrete floor?: Hello, thank you for getting in touch! This flooring can certainly be used on commercial premises. However, I would perhaps recommend looking at our EvoCore range of flooring as this is 100% waterproof and slip-resistant: https://www.directwoodflooring.co.uk/evocore-flooring. This also is very low maintenance. The issue with using Engineered Oiled wood in a commercial restaurant is the flooring must be re-oiled every 1-2 years and is not waterproof. If you choose to go with Engineered Wood, you would require strapping & breaks in the room. I hope this helps! Can this flooring be laid on top of an XPS underfloor heating board (retrofit underfloor heating system)? Please let me know if screed is needed or not - the system I want to use doesn't come with screed, but I will use a protective + insulating layer.: Hello, thank you for getting in touch!
