Great Vinyl Tiles "We recently purchased enough of this to cover roughly 29m2 of our downstairs. We originally had laminate flooring from Carpetright of the connect variety that was falling apart despite only being 2 years old. Sadly they no longer sold it so we needed a harder wearing alternative. After several days of scouring the web, research on vinyl and glue vs connect this was what we landed on. Statistically its better in terms of wear level, thickness and almost always cheaper than anything else we could find. Pattern is very nice and the finished look is amazing. It cuts really easily both with a blade for straight cuts and a multitool for more complex stuff. We did a little test with two off cuts in the garden which I tasked the kids with destroying. They were allowed to use their scooters, skate boards and football boots and despite their best efforts they couldn't scratch or dent it. So basically the typical weekend punishment our laminate went through. All in all a great product and highly recommended." — Dominic L. Is a self adhesive underlay required?: Hello, thank you for getting in touch! We would not recommend laying this flooring with an additional underlay as this makes the flooring too cushioned.
